- Nila J. Klumpp (Nee Hillman), age 91, died on Tuesday, January 04, 2022. Born on June 18, 1930 in Wilson, NY she was the daughter of Lavelle and Florence Schnoor Hillman. Nila lived all her life in Newfane and Wilson area. She graduated from Wilson Central School in 1949. Nila worked at the Hulburts Canning Factory, the Wilson Theater, Green Acres and then the Lockport Felt Co. for 25 years. She married Kenneth H. Klumpp on August 24, 1963, he predeceased her. Mrs. Klumpp was a member of the Newfane Golden Agers Club and the Concordia Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her sister Carol (Late Dave) Dillabough; her grandson's, Douglas and Michael (Kim) Everett; great grandchildren, Ashley, Noah, Josh, Nick, Carly and Megan; her great great grandchildren, Jackson and Amara also several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her step-daughter Kathleen (Wayne) Everett, her brother Leonard (Rita) Hillman and is survived by her son in law Larry Bulmer.
Callings hours will be held on FRIDAY from 4-8 PM. at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOMES INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY 14108. Funeral services will be held on SATURDAY at 11:00 AM. with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery to follow.
