- Carol E. Dillabough of Newfane, NY wife of the late W. David Dillabough entered into rest on February 5,
2023 in the Niagara Hospice House. She was born in Wilson, NY on November 11, 1936, daughter of the
late Lavelle and Florence Schnoor Hillman. Carol worked at the Newfane Rehab Center for 18 years and
also worked at Peterson Drug Store and Hiller Farm Market. Carol enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills,
Knitting and was in a crafting club. She was secretary of bowling league at Allie Brandt's for 50 years.
Mother of Kathleen Dillabough, Daniel (Kim) Dillabough and Steven (Deb) Dillabough. Survived by 5
Grandsons, Dan (Kristen), Andrew (Molly), Nicholas (Alonna), Joshua (Cara), Anthony and 5 great
granddaughters. Predeceased by her brother Leonard Hillman (Rita) and Sister Nila (Kenneth) Klumpp.
Family and friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on
Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 3-7pm where a funeral service will be held on Thursday February 9,
2023 at 11am. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Niagara Hospice,
Newfane United Methodist Church or a charity of one's choice.
