- Robert Lee. Smith, of Lockport, NY, husband of Mary Adams Smith entered into rest on Wednesday December 29, 2021. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 12, 1942, the son of the late Gordon and Alice Ardus Smith.
Bob retired from Harrison Radiator in Lockport in 1998 after 30 years, but he never stopped working. He loved woodworking, and spent days in his garage or working on the lawn and around the house tinkering and playing with his lawn tractors. Bob enjoyed going for rides with Mary, shopping, a hot dog at Reid's or an ice cream by the lake or a visit to the neighbors on the golf cart. His granddaughter was the light of his life from the time he first held her in the hospital, she was so precious to him.
Father of Christine Smith (Michael Miller); grandfather of Bethany McHenry and brother of the late Richard and Charles Smith.
NO PRIOR VISITATION. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Brendan on the Lake (St.Bridget's Ewings Road Site) on SATURDAY January 22nd at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place in St. Charles Cemetery with military honors. Please visit www.rutland-corwin.com
