- Robert E. Timm April 21, 1950 - February 14, 2025
Robert E. Timm, lifetime area resident, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 14, 2025. He was 74. He was born in Niagara Falls on April 21, 1950, the son of Edward and Phyllis (Estes) Timm. He attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1968 and then received his Associate of Applied Science degree in Materials Science from Erie Community College. Mr. Timm worked for Hooker Chemical and then began his career as a quality control inspector for nuclear power plants, most recently for Southern Nuclear in Augusta, Georgia. He was a skilled mechanic and talented woodworker, was a huge fan of John Wayne, and the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, enjoyed any history regarding World War II and enjoyed camping in his earlier years. Robert was a longtime customer of The Wagon Wheel Restaurant and for the past 19 years, was part owner of the business with his son Robert. He is survived by his son, Robert (Jasmine) Timm, his cousin Becky (Sandy Sidell) Timm and many friends. Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4 to 7 P.M. Burial will be alongside his parents in Acacia Park Cemetery at a later date.
