- Joseph Michael Michno Obituary
Joseph Michno, age 83, of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away peacefully at home on February 5, 2025, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, Joseph served his country with honor in the US Army, where he was stationed in Germany. After his service, he worked as a skilled machinist in Buffalo for many years.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Elzer-Michno (nee Schulz). He is also survived by his brother, James M. (Marcia) Michno, and will be greatly missed by several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Fretthold Funeral Home, located at 1241 Oliver Street in North Tonawanda, on Monday, February 10th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 11th, beginning at 10:00 AM, with interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to Niagara County SPCA or to Niagara Hospice.
