MAROHN - John C. Marohn,
71, of 6969 Nash Road, Town of
Wheatfield, died Tuesday (April
18, 1961) at Ransomville General
Hospital after a long illness. Born
in Tonawanda, Mr. Marohn was a
lifelong resident of the area, and
was employed at MetMoff Brothers
before retiring font' years ago.
He-was an exempt member of Niagara
Hose Co.. No. 3 of Tonawanda
and was also a member of the
Tonawanda Exempt. Firemen's
Association,. Surviving are his
wife, Lillian, (nee Brock) Marohn;
a, son, 'Donald; six grandchildren,
and four brothers, William,
Edward and Paul Marohn, all of.
Tonawanda, and Christian of Detroit,
Mich., and two sisters, Mrs.
Minnie Scotland of Tonawanda,
and Mrs. Alice Duher of Niagara
Falls, N.Y... Friends may call at
the Hamp Funeral Home Inc., 37
Adam St., Tonawanda, w h e r e
services will be a t .2 p.m. Friday.
The Rev. Herman Kuhlmann of
the Abiding' Saviour L u t h e r a n
Church -will officiate. Burial in
Elmlawn Cemetery.
