- Paul John Harchar, age 72 of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest on July 16, 2022 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Luzerne Township, PA on March 31, 1950; son of the late Michael and Mary (Padavan) Harchar. Paul owned Advanced Communications & Cable TV Inc. for 30 years, working over the road as an aerial lineman, since 1967, until his retirement. Hobbies and interests included fishing, the outdoors, going for rides to see all the Christmas lights, making snow castles for his grandchildren, the beach, talking about the cable industry, was known as being the life of the party, making people laugh, was known for his legendary Halloween parties, loved his dog Sophia, but most of all the love for his family above everything else.Survivors include three children, Christine (Rick) Harchar-Sukmanowski, Paul Harchar Jr., and James Harchar, all of Florida; grandchildren, Mariana Harchar, Robert Sukmanowski, RJ Sukmanowski, and Jimmy Harchar; a brother, Michael Harchar of PA; sister, Dorothy (Kenneth) DeVantier of Sanborn;nephews, Michael (Mindy) DeVantier and Brian DeVantier; and Carol "Sunshine" Harchar.Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Tuesday - July 19, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday - July 20, from noon till 2 p.m. A celebration of Paul's life will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY.
