- Linda Heuer Life story
Linda Jo (Wieleba) Heuer, 72, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on November 12, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born on April 18, 1953 to Richard and Emily Wieleba. She married her best friend and love of her life, Andrew Heuer, on May 19, 1979. She worked for many years at Carborundum, until to dedicating her life to raising her three children, Andrea, Richard, and Peter.
Linda was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at Holy Trinity Church. She was the leader and the guitarist for the Holy Trinity Folk Group with her husband Andrew at her side for 26 years, until the church closed its doors in 2008.
Linda was an expert of Polish traditions and steward of her heritage. She was a masterful baker of Placek and Pisanki artist. Her pisanki were displayed at the University of Michigan along side her cousin’s Fr. Czesław.
As much as she loved keeping up the traditions, her true passion was her family. Linda was caretaker for everyone in her life; from her mother, Emily to her beloved grandson, Theo.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Heuer; her brother, Robert Wieleba; her three children, Andrea (Andrew) Bieniek, Richard and Peter, and her grandson, Theo Bieniek.
All are welcome to gather for visitation on Tuesday, from 3-7 p.m., at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME AND NIAGARA COUNTY CREMATION CARE, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007). Family and friends are invited to attend Linda’s Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 19th, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Duane Klizek serving as celebrant. Everyone please assemble at the church. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
