March 15, 2023, age 88. Loving father of Ann C. Wells, Kathleen R. (James) Jarvis, Michael R. (Jennifer) Wells and the late Jane E. Wells; cherished grandfather of Michael, Catlin Wells, Jimmy and Annie Jarvis; caring brother of the late Daniel (late Lorraine), Raymond (Alice) and James (late Rita) Wells; predeceased by his former wife Jacqueline F. (nee Staebell) Wells; also survived by nieces and nephews. Robert was a 1952 graduate of Kensington High School, he served in the US Army from 1957-1959 in the Third Medium Tank Btn. 37th Armor in Schweinfurt, Germany and managed the Helping Hands Food Pantry in the East Delavan, Bailey and Kensignton neighborhood for 15 years. The Family will be present on Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Drive (corner of Parker Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday from Blessed Trinity Church, 317 Leroy Avenue, Buffalo at 9:30 AM. Family and friends are asked to please assemble at the church.
