- Sally M. Hansen, 86, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on July 15, 2024 at Our Lady of Peace in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Baluzzo) Molinaro.
Sally was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On May 18, 1959, she married Merle A. Hansen at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Mr. Hansen predeceased her on September 1, 1987 after 28 years of marriage. Sally was employed as a Timekeeper at Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY for 10 years, and later worked as a Teller at Various Off Track Betting locations in Western New York for 15 years until her retirement in 2001. In her spare time, Sally enjoyed playing cards and bingo, going to the casino, and avidly cheering on her Buffalo Bills. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sally is survived by her children, Donna (Michael) Bicksler, Elaine Walton, and Michael (Jill) Hansen; her grandchildren, James (Amoreena) Myers, Stephanie (Dan) Hefferon, Emily (William) Mark, Michael (Amanda) Hansen, Jr., David (Jasmyn) Hansen, Maria Hansen, Julianna Hansen, Natalie Hansen, and Madeline Cramer; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Donovan, Joseph, Everly, Gianna, and Giada; her brother, John (Robert) Molinaro, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Frank Molinaro and Ross Molinaro.
