- Michael M. Moeller, age 65, of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family at home. Michael was the son of the late Melvin and Margaret Moeller. Michael graduated with an electrical engineering degree from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from Canisius College. He was employed as an engineer in the defense industry for 40 years. He was a loving family man who enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with tractors at his family cabin in the southern tier. He was an avid outdoorsman passionate about hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing.
Michael is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela (nee Tucker), daughter Jennifer (Christopher) Nebelecky, son Michael Moeller Jr., dogs Maddie, Holly and grand-dog Nutmeg. Also survived by his brother Jeffrey (Brenda) Moeller. Michael has many nieces, nephews, cousins and brother and sister in laws who have been an important part of his life. He was predeceased by his brother Gregory Moeller.
Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Michael's life and honor his memory on Wednesday from 5-8 PM, and on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM from Our lady of Czestochowa Church, 626 Oliver St., North Tonawanda. Entombment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice or Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The family wishes to thank the staff at Niagara Hospice for their compassionate care during Michael's final days.
