- Patricia D. Colavecchia Obituary
Patricia D. Colavecchia, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls on March 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late George "Red" and Dorothy (O'Connor) Tilton. Patricia joins her beloved late husband Joseph S. Colavecchia, "Joe the Barber," who predeceased her on May 7, 2023.
Patricia is survived by her daughters Lisa M. Connolly, Casey A. Parcher, Laura A (Greg) Estenoz and Dena M. (late Bryan) Stoneham and her only son, Patrick M. Maloney. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Murray, Courtney Maloney, Vincent Parcher, Cameron (Evie) Maloney, Olivia Briganti, Anna Briganti, Alexandra Colavecchia, Mark Stoneham, and Caleb Stoneham, as well as great grandchildren Red Murray and Aodhan Hardy. She was predeceased by her sister Georgia Brass and survived by sister Kathleen Ventrella and brother Michael (Patty) Tilton, her sister-in-law Ann Worley and brother-in-law Joseph Ventrilla as well as many nieces, nephews.
Pat worked for 32 years at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital in the physical therapy department with her best friend Diane (late Richard) Butera. They remained "besties" until her passing. She married the love of her life, Joseph, on June 24, 1977 and they collaborated to help raise 5 children. Pat and Joe together enjoyed life to the fullest. They went on to have many travel adventures with friends and family. They also built a large camp in the Southern Tier where there were many happy times. She was the matriarch ily. She was the matriarch of the family and hosted many gatherings at their home where all enjoyed her excellent cooking, singing, swimming and more.
She spread unwavering love and helpfulness to all her children and grandchildren. She was the pillar of strength, leaving us all with wonderful memories that will never be forgotten. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She is at peace with Joe now, no doubt enjoying a Manhattan.
There is No Prior visitation. Burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY will take place at the convenience of the family. A celebration of her life will be announced later. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
