Mrs. Rose Adams Is Dead At 78; Native Of Poland
Mrs. Rose Adams, 78, of 17 Scovell St., Lockport, died Monday at Lockport Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born Jan. 8, 1891 in Poland, and had resided in Lockport for the past 50 years. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Senior Citizens and Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2535. Surviving are a daughter and son, Mrs. William H. (Tessie) Sprung and Rudolph Adams, both of Lockport, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday. The Rev. Ernest E. Heuer, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
