  Obituary Frances M. Shanesey, 91, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 under the care of Niagara Hospice with her loving family by her side. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 14, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Sydney A. and Ruth (Smith) McCracken. Frances was a Police Officer with the Niagara Falls Police Department for 30+ years retiring in 2002. She is survived by her son, Gill W. Shanesey; brothers, John McCracken, and Jim McCracken. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Bernard "Bernie" Shanesey, and brother, Richard McCracken. There is NO PRIOR visitation. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
