Judith A. Maines, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A woman who loved with her whole heart, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, December 13, 2023 at the age of 82.
Judy was one of two children, born August 12, 1941 to William and Mary Carlin in Lockport, NY. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Flagler and her two sons, William and Brian Maines.
Judy is survived by her husband of 65 years Floyd L. Maines; her daughter Rebecca (David) Weinheimer; her son Christopher (Claire) Maines, and daughter Pamela (Stuart) Bochniarz.
Judy was a wonderful grandmother to five grandchildren, Tina Weinheimer, Mary (Ian) Kesterson, William (Cambridge) Bisher, Douglas (Kelly) Bisher and Kyle Maines. Judith had eight great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, eight step great-grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren.
Judy was very much an active member at American Legion Post 173 in Holiday, Florida, as she had a passion for dancing and raising money for veterans. Judy also loved spending time with her family.
A celebration of Judith's life will be planned at a later date in the spring of 2024. In lieu of flowers, it was Judith's wish that donations be made to https://Guidedogs.org.
