Susan Elizabeth "Aunt Sue" Mills

Susan Elizabeth Mills “Aunt Sue”, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. She was 68. She was born in Niagara Falls on November 28, 1955, a daughter of the late William H. and Helen M. (MacPherson) Mills, Jr. She attended local schools and graduated from Madonna High School.
Susan worked at several area Tops Markets locations over the years and was most recently the Deli manager at Tops on Grand Island. She was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan. She enjoyed golfing, playing softball and bingo. She was a devoted aunt to everyone, and attended as many of her nieces and nephews sporting events as possible.
She is survived by 6 siblings: Richard (Debra) Mills, Edward (Jackie) Mills, Therese (late Alan) Ferris, Michael (late Susanna) Mills, Cathy Lodwick and George (JoAnn) Mills. She is also survived two brother-in-laws: Peter (late Mary Helen) Kalita and Dr Theodore (late Ann) Kozlowski and three sister-in-laws: Patty (Fenton) Young, Joyce (late Robert) Mills and Natalie (late Thomas) Mills. She is also survived by over 100 nieces and nephews, including great and great-great.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 6 siblings: Mary Helen (Peter) Kalita, Ann (Dr Theodore) Kozlowski, Nancy Pack, William (Patty Young) Mills, III, Robert (Joyce) Mills and Thomas (Natalie) Mills. She was also predeceased by 3 nephews: Mark Kalita, David Kozlowski, and Jeffrey Mills and 1 niece: Betty Johnson.
Services will be private and Sue will be buried alongside her parents in Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Lewiston at a later date.
