- Robert ‘Bob’ F. Galley, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025 at Northgate Health Care Facility in Wheatfield, NY while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick R. and Emily E. (Engelholn) Galley.
Bob was a graduate of Niagara-Wheatfield High School. He was employed for over 30 years at Nabisco Shredded Wheat in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement in 2001. In 2014, he married Teresa R. (Reed) Gardner. Teresa predeceased him on January 29, 2024.
Bob was an avid fisherman and loved to travel. He also enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills. He cherished his beloved dogs, Benny, Lily, Abby and Bella, and his cat, Oscar. Known for his sweet-talking ways, Bob was also incredibly caring, loving and funny. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his children, David Galley, Eric Galley, Denise Galley, Lynn (William) Johnson, and Jenna (Rich) Koziel; his step-son, Robert (Jame) Gardner; 6 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great-granddaughters, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife of 10 years, he was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Slusser.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8 from 5 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.
