- Obituary for Gregory “Sluggo” W. Myers
Gregory W. "Sluggo" Myers, 57, of North Tonawanda, New York, Friday (July 12, 2024) at home surrounded by family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Gregory was born in North Tonawanda on July 12, 1967 to Gloria (Phillips) Myers and William Myers. Greg was a Senior Wastewater mechanic for the city of North Tonawanda, member of Third Warder's Social Club, avid Cornhole player, member of the CSEA union, Nascar fan, sports fan, and die hard Ford guy. In his spare time he enjoyed sitting in the garage with his friends having that Budlight listening to Genesis.
Greg was survived by his wife of 32 years Maria A. (Miranto) Myers, children Amanda (Alex) Tsarev, Matthew (Cassondra) Myers, and Alyssa (Ryan) Farrell, parents Gloria Myers and William Myers, brother and sister Todd (Carrie) Myers, and Christine Myers, proud Papa of Peyton, Camryn, Matthew Jr.; Frankie, and Vinny, also surviving are many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gregs memory to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
