- Dr. Timothy's Obituary
Dr. Timothy R. Bronson passed away peacefully on Sunday, September
29, 2024 at home in his sleep. Tim was born in North Tonawanda on
April 20, 1940, a son of the late Chester R. and Grace M. (Lozo)
Bronson. He attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior
High School. Tim continued his education at Stonehill College in
Massachusetts where he graduated with a Master’s Degree in
Psychology.
In the late 1960’s he went on to the Seminary at Saint John Vianney in
East Aurora, New York, where he was ordained a Catholic Priest. Tim
served at many parishes throughout the Buffalo New York Diocese.
After retiring from the priesthood, he joined the staff at D’Youville
College in Buffalo where he became head of the counseling
Department.
After retiring from D’Youville he opened a private practice in Niagara
Falls and taught psychology part time at Niagara University in Lewiston.
Tim worked his private practice right up to his passing.
Tim is survived by three siblings: Georgianna (Dave) Joseph of Chapin,
South Carolina, Roy D. Bronson of Niagara Falls and Sis Bronson of
Buffalo. He is also survived by nephews Christopher (Debbie) Pirinelli,
James (Cheryl) Pirinelli, Thomas Pirinelli, niece Jennifer (Brian) Gensler,
many great nieces and nephews and his cherished friend Dannette
Sullivan of Seattle, Washington.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo
Avenue on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 2 to 4 P.M., where a celebration of
Life will be celebrated at 4 PM, Burial will be private in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Tonawanda, New York.
