- Shelli E. (Osowski) Young, 53, of Niagara Falls, NY, died on October 5, 2024, one day shy of her 54th birthday, with her family by her side at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of Eugene and Diane (Barrand) Osowski.
Shelli graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School. She was an animal lover through and through, and worked in animal care and grooming, at Pet-I-Care for 16 years and for her own business, Doggone Clean, also for 10 years. Shelli loved music, and especially liked going to see her favorite 80’s bands in concerts. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and painting ceramics in her younger years and loved cows and the color purple. Known as the life of the party, Shelli was always ready for something fun. Above all, Shelli was an amazing friend and even more amazing mom to her two children and baba to her granddaughter, who she loved with all of her heart.
In addition to her parents, Shelli is survived by her two children, Samantha M. Young (Shane) and Cody J. Young; brothers, Troy (Kristina) Osowski and Chad Osowski (Jen); a granddaughter, Camille Diane Young, her ex-husband, James Young, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
