It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother, Patricia Kloosterman… a friend to all whose lives she touched. She left us on October 19, 2024, while under the care of her daughters and Niagara Hospice at her home. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Carrie (Faso) LaBernardo; beloved wife of Jon ‘Jack’ Kloosterman who predeceased her in 2000; and loving sister of Janet Davis who passed away in 1997.
Pat graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1962 and went on to achieve her nursing degree. She worked for several doctors as a Registered Nurse for many years prior to her retirement. She had so many very close friends that she loved spending time with. She was a devoted parishioner and very active in her parish, Immaculate Conception Church.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Claudine (Jarod) Bierly of Newark, NY, Sonja (Steve) Marchetti of Cambria, NY, and Danielle Kloosterman of Lewiston, NY; her grandchildren, Gabrielle and Jack Marchetti, and Paytton and Kendall Bierly; her brother, Daniel (Barbara) LaBernardo; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. Pat’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Rd, Ransomville, NY 14131. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
