  Josephine S. Sobiegray Obituary Josephine S. Sobiegray, 95, of the Town of Wheatfield, NY passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Poland on April 11, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Joseph "Jozef" and Anna (Ugorny) Soja. Josephine was a Secretary for Niagara-Wheatfield Central School District for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, floral arranging, and sewing/ seamstress work. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, David E. (Susan) Sobiegray; grandson, Scott (Stefania) Sobiegray and her grand dog, Bree. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edwin P. Sobiegray, and brother, Richard Soja. There is NO PRIOR visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday, November 18th at Divine Mercy Parish, 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Entombment following in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
