- GASPORT — Hazel M. Harling, 86, of Gasport and formerly of Knowlesvilie, died Oct. 23 after a lengthy illness at Inter-Community Memorial Hospital in Newfane. She was bom on Aug. 3, 1908 in Meriden, Conn, and was the daught er of the late Alfred and Minnie (Marvel) Brown. She married the late Leon Harling Sr. in 1930 in Albion. He died in 1953. Mrs. Harling worked as a bookk eeper at Agway in Knowlesville for 23 years and retired in 1975. She was a graduate of Brockport Teachers College Teaching School in Albion in the 1920's. She lived in Gasport the past two years at the United Church Colony Home and previousl y in Knowlesville. She is survived by two sons, Leon C. (Norma) Harling, of Barker, and Darrell (Susan) Harling, of Wilming ton, Del.; grandchildren, Eric, Paul, David, Becky and Lizzie; two great grandsons; a brother, Clyde (Marion) Brown, of Austin, Texas; a niece, Gwen (Richard) Brown, of Texas; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday friends will be received at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport where funeral ser vices will be held at 11 a.m. Wed nesday. The family will be present from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.. Interment will be held at ML Albion Cemetery, Albion. The Rev. Edward Trauscht will be officiating.
