- Frederick "Fred" S. Pasel, 81, of North Tonawanda, New York, Thursday (December 5, 2024) in Schoellkopf Health Center, Niagara Falls, New York. Fred was born in North Tonawanda, New York on January 12, 1943 to Frederick W. Pasel and Onallee A. (Neale) Leavoy. Fred was an avid sports fan through the years. His passion was racing, If there was a race in the US or Canada you would find him there. Fred was most proud of his years spent working at the Wurlitzer Plant, when they closed he was featured in the local newspaper rolling one of the last Juke Boxes off the assembly line. Fred retired from Middle Atlantic Warehouse, in Tonawanda, New York. He also worked construction with his stepdad and in a lumber mill. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Stepfather Alexander Leavoy, and brother Jeffrey Leavoy. Fred is survived by his brothers James (Shelly) Pasel, and Neal Leavoy, and sister in law Judith Leavoy, special mention to his niece Jennifer (Pasel) Maraj, for all her kindness over the years. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Fred was an uncle to countless nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada. Racing was his passion so Godspeed to Heaven Fred! Interment was held at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery. Wattengel.com
