- Margaret P. (Davey) Meacham, lifetime resident of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024, surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. She was 81. She was born in Niagara Falls on August 17, 1943, a daughter of Samuel J. and Winifred F. (Jones) Davey. She attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1961.
After high school she worked at Seraceni’s until she settled to raise her family. She then worked at Trusello’s Bakery and then as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at St. Mary’s Manor.
She is survived by three Daughters: Shelly Meacham, Dawn (Terry) Tattrie and Robin (Elin) Williams, 8 grandchildren: Gary (Jess) Meacham, Damon Hewitt, Lynne (James) Hewitt, Kenny (Stephanie) Davis, Shelbie Leone, T.J. (Jackie) Tattrie, Christina (late John) Caraglin and Brandon Berds. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren: Preston, Ellyona, Sophia, Kaitlyn, Madison, Ryder, Zach, Lexi, Alex, Kenzie, Miriah, Claire, Abilene and Tyler, four step-grandchildren: Ruthann (Michael) Leveille, Karen (Richard) Williams, Jay (Bobby) Williams and Rick Williams.
Also survived by step great-grandchildren: Aden Dolson, Matt (Brittanee), Ryan (Sara), Ricky, Kory (Sarah) and E.J. (Victoria), step great-great-grandchildren: Brody, Kaleb, Ella, Mason, Mackenzie, Karter and Maisy. Also survived by her nephew Bob (Lina) Parkhurst, two nieces: Lori (John) McGraw and Brenda (late Roger) Jansing. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two siblings: Zonola Parkhurst and Michele (late Bob) Hoelscher, her niece Susan Hunt and her nephew Gary McMullen.
Friends may call at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2 to 5 P.M. where services will be held at 5 P.M. immediately following the visitation with Pastor Ron Maines officiating. The family will be honoring Mrs. Meacham by wearing their Buffalo Bills Clothing so feel free to join in.
