- Barbara Crow Life story
Barbara L. (Garlitz) Crow, age 86, of Niagara Falls, NY, was called to her heavenly home on February 3, 2025 while surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Garlitz and Martha (Greaser) Morrow.
Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. She had grown up in the Town of Niagara and had briefly lived in Pekin before settling into the city where she continued to raise her family and stayed until her passing. Barbara had attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was well known in the community as ‘Granny Barb’ and she babysat for multiple families throughout her lifetime.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Crow and Diana Frey (Ray Miller); 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased one daughter, Deborah (late Donald) Tierney. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Mary (late William) Syruws, Rita (late Donald) Johannes, Joan (late Albine) Syrews, Betty Jane Gates, Patricia "Patty" Syrews and William "Bill" (Cynthia) Garlitz.
There will be no prior visitation. Inurnment in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston NY. Services will be held privately with her family. Memorial contributions may be made to Niagara Hospice or the Town of Niagara Lions Club.
