- James S. Malinowski Jr. Obituary
James S. "Jimmy" Malinowski, Jr., age 59, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 surrounded by much love & faith after lengthy illness under the care of Niagara Hospice. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY to the late James S. Malinowski, Sr., and Linda Malinowski (Shira) on June 21, 1966.
Jimmy attended the former LaSalle Sr. High. He is survived by his Mother Linda Malinowski (Shira), as well as his wife Christine Malinowski (LaRock) married April 15, 2004 in Nassau, Bahamas.
Jimmy and Christine, high-school sweethearts, moved to Michigan in 1995 for several years where he became a certified uni-body auto technician, later a journeyman carpenter with MI Carpenters Local 1004, thereafter moving to Florida where he attended and graduated from former Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando as certified Harley Davidson Technician in 2002, before finally returning to Niagara Falls. He had many passions including motorcycles, classic cars, and his never-ending love for animals. He will be remembered for his unconditional love, generous heart, and unwavering strength.
In addition to his wife, Jimmy is survived by his brother Charles Malinowski, sisters Kathleen Malinowski, Nicole Malinowski, sister-law Toni S. Merante (John), Kim M. Kasper Kathleen Malinowski, Nicole Malinowski, sister-law Toni S. Merante (John), Kim M. Kasper (Steve), nieces Gabrielle Merante (Matt), Autumn Allen, Jordynn Shelton, nephews Vincent Merante (Cass), Chaz Hiscock, Anthony Merante, Bradley Syruws, Jacob Syruws, grand-niece Giavanna Rose Scalfani, many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, many close and distant family and friends as well as beloved dog Max.
Very special thanks would like to be given to sister-in-law Toni S. Merante, niece Gabrielle Merante, nephews Vincent Merante (Cass), Anthony Merante & Niagara Hospice team for their unwavering love, care & support.
There is NO PRIOR visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 14th at St. Peter RC Parish, 600 Center Street, Lewiston, NY. Burial following in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. Arrangements entrusted to ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.
