- Obituary for Daniel Hogan
Daniel Hogan, 63, of North Tonawanda, New York, passed away peacefully in his home, on Sunday, October 26. He was born in North Tonawanda, New York on January 25th, 1962. He is pre deceased by his loving wife of 34 years, Jennifer Hogan.
Dan had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and a love for life that rubbed off on everyone around him. He was happiest outside - gardening, camping with his family, or just soaking up the sun with some Grateful Dead playing in the background. You could always count on him to show up in a tie-dye or Hawaiian shirt, a Mountain Dew in one hand and a ham sandwich in the other. He didn’t take life too seriously and reminded everyone else not to, either.
Dan was a proud father to, Jody (Travis) Winder, Kelly Hogan ( Michael Kuntz) and Ryan Hogan. He loved being his silliest self with his grandkids, Landon, Parker, Mason, and Harper. He is survived by his brothers Tim Hogan, Peter(Pam) Hogan, and sisters Molly Hogan, Margaret(Tom) Nelson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dan is pre deceased by his parents James and Margaret Hogan as well as brothers Denny, David and Pat Hogan. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 1-4 PM at Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, NY.
