- Daniel G. Guild passed away Saturday November 1, 2025. Born in Bethesda MD, on November 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Edwin and Dorothy Bacon Guild.
Daniel proudly served in the US Airforce from 1967 until 1971. Following his service, he worked as a Computer Programmer for Erb Co. Inc in Buffalo.
Known by his closest friends as “Gilly,” Daniel was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed spending time on the course with his sons. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion. In his younger years, he spent many summers on Lake Ontario, and later in life cherished his time on the St. Lawrence River, where he enjoyed boating and fishing. He’ll always be remembered for his infectious laugh.
Daniel is survived by his wife Deborah (nee Brooks) Guild; father of Christopher (Danielle) Guild, Ryan (Megan) Guild, Tyler (Allison) Guild, Brandon (Nicole) Guild and Tanner Guild; proud Papa to Aiden, Landen, Madilyn, Brayden, Olive, Scarlett, Henley, Ethan, and Beckett. He was the brother of Richard (Jean) Guild and the late Rory (Susan) Guild and brother in-law of Denise (Michael) Tarabas, Diane (Ron) Steele, Janet Brooks, Laurie (Daniel) Cleary and Stephen (Kathryn) Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 15, 2025 at 11 AM at Oak Orchard Assembly of God, 12111 Ridge Rd, Medina, NY 14103.
