- Janet Cusack (nee Moeller), age 77, passed away on August 23, 2025. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late Pearl J. Moeller (nee Witkop) and Clarence D. Moeller, and stepdaughter of the late Shirley Moeller. Janet found joy in crafting and spending time with her friends and family, especially watching her grandchildren play sports. She also found great purpose in her career, working with multiple engineering firms over the years and forming lasting friendships with many colleagues. Loving mother of Kathleen (Tom) McKim (nee Cusack); Beloved grandmother of Jack and Josie McKim; Dear sister of Barbara (Russell) Guarino (nee Moeller); Loving aunt of Dalene (John) Aylward (nee Guarino), Renee (Rashidi) Greene (nee Guarino), Russell (Lisa) Guarino, and Michael Guarino. Janet will be dearly missed by her extended family, including many friends, cousins, second cousins, and great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver Street in North Tonawanda, on September 13th, from 1:00PM - 4:00PM. A funeral service will begin at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the following organizations, which held a special place in Janet’s heart: American Heart Association, Angel Gowns of WNY, Niagara County SPCA, or to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
