Charles L. Carr, 68, of 2727
Independence Ave., formerly
of 1847 Weston Ave., died Saturday
(March 28, 1970) in
Mount St. Marry's ° Hospital
after a short illness.
A native of New York City,
Mr. Carr had lived in Niagara
Falls for the last 53 years. He
operated a phonograph sales
business at his home on West-,
on Avenue for more than 30
years before retiring in 1960.
He moved to Independence
Avenue several months ago.
Mr. Carr was a member of Zion
Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his widow,
the former Millie Beseth, this
city; three sons, Richard Carr
of Lewiston, Jack L. Carr of
North Tonawanda and Charles
E. Carr of Indianapolis, Ind.;
a brother, Tony Carr of Danbury,
Conn.; four sisters, Mrs.
Lorraine Carlson of Niagara
Falls, Miss Rose Carr of Winter
Park, Fla., Mrs. Lewis
Bellinger of Waverville, Calif.,
and Mrs. Joseph Johnson of
Concord, Calif., and several
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Otto
Redanz Funeral Home with the
Rev. Milan Slahor officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery.
Contributions to the Memorial
Fund of Zion Lutheran Church
will be acceptable as tributes,
the family said.
Friends may.call at the funeral
home from 3 to 5 and
7 to 10 p.m.
