Born in Wheatfield, Mrs. Bayer was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Wife of the late Kenneth N. Bayer, she is survived by one daughter, Jean Hillman of Lockport; one son, Donald Bayer of Pendleton; four brothers, Louis (Irene) Breitenbach, Walter (Mabel) Breitenbach, both of North Tonawanda, Henry Breitenbach of Niagara Falls and John (Loretta) Breitenbach of the Town of Tonawanda; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wendt of Sanborn and Mrs. Catherine Pokelwaldt of Niagara Falls; three grandchildren, Deborah Gandt, Melody and Duane Hillman and two great-grandchildren, Eric and Alan Gandt.
