NIAGARA FALLS,.Nov. 8-The
body of Conrad Baum, 46, of 1603
Eighth street, missing since October
10, was taken late Wednesday
from the lower Niagara river near
Stella Niagara convent, tt was
taken to the Grldley funeral chapel
and there identified by friends and
relatives.
Authorities today were not certain
whether death was suicide or
accidental.

A large number of friends and relatives
of the late Conrad Baum, 66
years old, of 1503 Eighth street, attended
funeral services for him Saturday
afternoon. The servtces were
conducted at the Gridley funeral
home by tha Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer,
pastor of the Zlon Evangelical
Lutheran church. Burial was In Oakwood
cemetery. Among those attending
were many members of the 35-
year club of Aluminum Company of
Amerlca employee.
The palUx-arers were Louis Baum,
John Baum, Augustus Masoe, Adam
Wahl, Henry Laur and John Laur.
