- L.R.Belisle, Kankakee, Dies; Rites Saturday
Leroy R. Belisle, 69, of 1934 E. Pine St., died unexpectedly at 1:15 a.m. today at St. Mary's Hospital where he had been taken by the emergency unit of the Kankakee ire department
Mr. Belisle was a lifetime resident of Kankakee County. He was born Jan 16, 1937 (sic) in St. George, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Belisle. He was a former employee of Uptown Sales and Turner Imports.
He was a member of the Machinsts Union of Kankakee, the Moose Lodge, the Knights of Columbus and St. Teresa;s Holy Name Society.
He was married in Kankakee to the former Magdalene Regnier on Jan. 16, 1937.
He is survived by the widow; daughters, Mrs. Richard A. McClain and Miss Carolyn Belisle, and a son, Brian, all of Kankakee sisters, Mrs. Eugene Benoit, Mrs. Girard Rivard and Mrs. E. G. LaMontagne, all of Bourbonnals; a brother, Leonard of Kankakee, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Teresa's Church with the Rev. John Skrodenis officiating. Burial will be in a local cemetery.
Visiting hours are at Senesac Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Thursday and until the funeral Saturday.
The rosary will be recited for Mr. Belisle at 7:45 p.m. Friday by the Holy Name Society and at 8 p.m. Thursday by the Knights of Columbus.
