  Utica NY Observer - 5/31/1966 REMSEN-Ernest Worden, 71, of Fairchild Road, died today in his home. Mr. Worden was born in the Town of Russia. He married Iona Clark in 1915 in Remsen. -He had owned-and-operated a farm until his retirement in 1962. Mr. Worden was a member of the Remsen Methodist Church. Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs Otto Koenig, North Lake and Elton Roberts, Remsen; nine sons, Warren, Sacramento, Calif.; Eugene^ Boonville; Hugh. Ithaca; Ellsworth, Roy, Carl. George. Ward and Francis, all of Remsen and a brother, Fred. Forestport. The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from the Ackley Funeral Home with the Rev. Rollin Campbell, pastor of the Remsen Methodist Church, officiating. Burial_ will be in Fairchild Cemetery. Calling 'hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
