  Obituary Ethel Schaus, wife of the late Rev. Dr. Lloyd Schaus died on October 15, 2001. She is survived by a son, Philip, and a daugher Mary Jo, and their families. Mrs. Schaus was the first president of the newly-organized Lutheran Church Women of the Canada Synod; the president of the Women's Inter-church Council of Canada; the first woman member of a church council in Kitchener-Waterloo. She also entertained students, faculty and visiting dignitaries in her home in support of Dr. Schaus' role as Dean of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary.
