Services for Harold W. Jagow, a retired serviceman for the Carborundum County, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lutheran Church of the Escarpment, Upper Mountain Road and Bronson Boulevard. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jagow, 71, of Dana Drive died Thursday (Aug. 12, 1993) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.
A native of Niagara Falls, Jagow worked at the former Bell Aircraft Co. and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later worked at Carborundum in Wheatfield for 40 years and was associated with the former Varsity Sports Shop in Pine Plaza for 30 years.
Jagow was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of the Escarpment, where he was a former deacon, trustee and financial secretary. He was a member of the Protestant Church Men's Bowling League, the Retired Men's Golf League and the Carborundum Alumni Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Betty Milotta; a brother, Clarence Jagow; and a sister, Elinor Murtaugh, both of Niagara Falls.
