Notes - Marjorie A. Begley Mathew, 74, of Lafayette, died at 4:14 PM Thursday, Nov. 13, 1997, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She had been a patient there for 23 days. Born Jan. 25, 1923, in Freeland park, she had lived in Lafayette for 34 years, moving here from Fowler.
Mrs. Mathew was formerly married to Ed F. Mathew. She was a waitress at Sarge Oaks and The Downtowner, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lafayette.
Surviving are two sons, Larry E. Mathew and Edward L. Mathew, both of Lafayette; two daughters, Kathy Pyle of Fort Wayne and Julie Rasner of Lafayette; and a sister, Eunice Hawkins of Earl Park.
