Harvey ‘Butch’ Huff, Jr., 71, of Sanborn, NY, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Harvey Sr. and Mildred (Mehls) Huff; and the beloved husband of 40 years to Christine (Wygle) Huff.
Butch graduated from Niagara Falls High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University. He currently owned and operated the Niagara Falls Wedding Chapel and touched the lives of many couples through his talents in ministry, photography and videography on their wedding day. Each year, Butch proudly took part in over 100 wedding ceremonies.
Butch worked as a dealer at the Seneca Niagara Casino for over 18 years. He was an excellent athlete and enjoyed competing in team sports, softball, golf and volleyball. Butch had a tremendous love for Harley Davidson and was a talented photographer. He also had a love for animals, especially his dogs, Barrack, Bernard, and his cat, Bindi. Above all, Butch enjoyed spending time with his family and friends who will miss him dearly.
He happily rejoins his beloved daughter, Candace Christine Huff, who sadly predeceased him in 2016, and their beloved dog, Bernard, who followed Butch to Heaven on the same day of Butch's passing.
In addition to his wife, Christine, Butch is survived by his siblings, Rick (Susan) Huff and Donna (Kirk) Kelly; his mother-in-law, Dorothy (late Donald) Wygle; brothers-in-law, Steven Wygle and Jeffrey Wygle, his sister-in-law, Kim Munger, his daughter Lauren Miller (Phil) and grandson Ryan who he recently united with and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He was predeceased by his sisters, Beverly (late Ralph) Alfonse, Marilyn Byrnes and Sandra (late Bob) Dell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 28 from 2 – 7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM. In memory of his daughter, memorial offerings in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance at ccalliance.org.
