  Niagara Gazette - 2/28/1944 Valentine Wahl, 64, a former widely known resident of Niagara Falls, died at his home in Sylvan Beach, N. Y., this morning. A native of Canada, he came to this city as a child and was employed by the Oneida Community, Ltd., here before removing to Sylvan Beach 25 or 30 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Althera Wahl, and a daughter, Olive, of Sylvan Beach; three brothers, Adam, George and Fred Wahl, of this city, and a sister, Mrs. W. H. Bean, of Anaheim, Calif. Funeral services and Interment will be In Sylvan Beach.
