 Funeral services for Robert
 Brydges, 1516 Willow Ave.,
 will be held at 2 p.nv, Thursday
 at the Cornell and Daggett
 Funeral Home.
 Rev. David H. Weeks, rector
 emeritus pf Epiphany Episcopal
 Church, will conduct
 services for the 70-year-old
 former papermaker who died
 Monday (July 24, 1961) on the
 way to Memorlal Hospital.

 Falls family and veteran
 papermakerw it h the
 old Defiance Paper Co.,
 died Monday (July 24,
 1061) on the way to Mer
 morial Hospital after, being
 stricken at his home at
 1516 Willow Ave.
 -A. lift-long • resident, Mr.
 Brydges was a World War I
 veteran, serving with the field
 artillery. He was employed at
 the Defiance Paper Co. until
 its closing, later working as a
 chemical operator at the
 Niacet plant of the Union
 Carbide Metals Co.
 Mr. Brydges is a member
 of an area family that first
 took up residence here in
 1824.
 He is survived by a brother,
 Amos J. (Dick) Brydges, and
 a sister, Mrs. Cora Murphy,
 this city, arid several nieces
 and nephews, including State
 Sen. Earl W. Brydges of Wilson.
 Funeral services will be
 conducted at the Cornell and
 Daggett Funeral .Home at a
 time to be announced. Burial
 will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
