  North Tonawanda NY Evening News - 12/15/1980 BAUM - Lewis J. B a u m 7 4 , of Tonawanda, unexpectedly Saturday (December 13, 1980) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Born in Niagara FaUs, N.Y., he had been a resident of Tonawanda for the past 45 years and had been employed at the Buffalo Courier-Express for more than 20 years, retiring in 1972 and was the father of Lewis J. Baum, Jr., who died' in 1960. Mr. Baum was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and the Buffalo Typographical Union, No. 9. He is survived by his wife, Lillian (nee Hyland) Baum; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel ( M a r y ) Bond of Tonawanda; a son, Ronald (Dolores) Baum of Winter Park, Fla., and three grandchildren, Cindy Baum, William Sefranek and Craig Bond. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at John O. Roth Funeral Home. Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday by the Rev. Robert W. Wardenski. Burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family.
