LEWISTON — Eleanor M. Marker, 92, of Niagara Falls, died suddenly Monday, December 6, 2010 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Town of Lewiston. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 10, 1918, a daughter of the late Robert and Edna (DeRusha) McGahey.
Mrs. Marker attended local schools and graduated from the former St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse and Occupational Health Nurse with Moore Business Forms and Harrison Radiator, and retired in 1983.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred W. Marker in 1984; and a sister, Frances Bronson.
Survivors include a nephew, Kenneth (Kathleen) Bronson of the Town of Niagara; a niece, Nancy Bronson of Wheatfield and great-nieces, Karen Bronson and Kerriann Bronson, both of Lewiston; and great-nephew, Kristian Bronson of the Town of Niagara.
There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a committal service at 10 AM Saturday, December 11, 2010 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Epiphany Mausoleum Chapel, 4000 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore, with the Rev. Stewart Lindsay, OSFS, officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to the Cross in the Woods National Shrine, 7078 M-63 Hwy., Indian River, MI 49749.
