Baskets of white chrysanthemums
and palms decorated the
chapel of Grace Methodist Church
last Saturday at. 7:30 p. m. and
garlands of pink and white pompons
adorned the chancel rail as
a floral background for the wedding
of Miss Marion W. Ross,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Ross of Washington St. and Ricaard
W. Muler. son of Mr, and Mrs.
Floyd Miller of Leroy Ave. Buffalo.
The family pews were marked
with clusters of pompons tied
with white satin ribbon.
Rev. John E. Sandmeyer officiated
at the double ring ceremony
Lillian Thiele sang "Because" and
"With This Rimr I Thee Wed"
with George Smith Jr. at the organ.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride woro a colonial gown
of white slipper satin, with long
sleeves a yoke of illusion accented
with a ruffle of Cbantilly lace. Al-
ternate ruffles of lace and satin
trimmed the side panels of the
hooped skirt. Her fingertip veil
was held with a coronet and she
carried a cascode bouquet of
bride's roses and pompons centered
with an orch'd corsage. She
wore a necklace of pearls, the gilt
of the bridegroom.
Miss Jessie Ross, attending her
sister as maid of honor, wore a
gown of American Beauty .satin
with low neckline and hoop sttirt
She wore a garland of yellow loses
in her hair and carried a bouquet
of matching roses and yellow
pompons. Miss Shirley Fehrman,
bridesmaid, wore a similarly fashioned
gown of gold satin, carried
Better Times roses and pompons
and wore matching roses in her
hair.
The flower giri, Susan Lapiene,
niece of the bride, wore a frock of
light green satin and carried a basket
of roses and pompons.
Edward Lapiene, brother-inlaw
of the bridegroom, was the
best man and ushers were Robert
Brenner of Buffalo and John V.
Ross, brother of the bride.
Mrs. Ross, mother of the bride,
selected a brown dress and green
accessories for her daughter's wedding.
Mrs. Miller, the bridegroom's
mother, chose a Navy blue dress
with gray accessories. Both wore
corsages of roses and pompons.
A reception for 200 guests was
held in Ukranian Hall after the
ceremony.
For ner wedding trip the bride
wore a lime colored suit with
beige accessories and an orchid
corsage.
Showers for the bride were gn
en by the Officers Club of Augustus
Crown Chapter, Mrs. Donald
Thorpe, Mrs. Frank Gentzke Mrs,
Edwin Briggs, Miss Jessie Ross,
Miss Shirley Fehrman, Mrs. Floyd
Miller and Mrs. Edward Lapiene.
