Vows Are
Exchanged
By Couple
MISS DONNA L. RANKIE
and Raymond F. Swann
were wed Sept. 4, 1965, in
a 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony
at Niagara United
Presbyterian Church.
Rev. William Devine officiated
at the nuptials for
the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Clayton J. Fowler, 1645
Saunders Settlement Road.
Lewiston, and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. George M.
Lenz, 1835 Willow Ave.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride chose a
gown of white silk organza
appliqued w i t h chantilly
lace fashioned with a fitted
bodice, sheath skirt, and
bouffant overskirt terminating
in a chapel train.
A matching petal-shaped
headpiece held her two-tier
veil of silk illusion. Her
flowers- were white and yellow
daisies centered with a
white orchid.
MRS. CLARENCE POTEET,
sister of the bride,
was the matron of honor.
Miss Linda A. Decker was
the bridesmaid.
Thev were similarly attired
in street-length gowns
of jade green crepe and
satin, with matching bow
headpieces holding butterfly
veils.
Miss Judith Schmidt was
the flower girl, wearing a
white organza dress with
green underskirt.
Gary Hustcd was the best
man. Guests were seated by
Carl Swann and Norman
Swann, brothers of the
bridegroom.
A reception was hotel at
the Tenderloin Restaurant,
The mother of the bride
wore a royal blue ribbon
knit dress with white accessories.
A blue chiffon
dress over taffeta with blue
accessories was the selection
of the mother of the
bridegroom.
The couple honeymooned
In the Adirondacks and
Montreal.
