  Niagara Gazette - 3/12/2008 Vera M. Caccamise, age 93, of Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Mrs. Caccamise was born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY, on February 18, 1915, where she attended local schools. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Vera was the wife of Frank J. Caccamise, who owned and operated the Why Coffee Shop, for over 50 years and she worked along side him for many years. He predeceased her on November 14, 2005, after 69 years of marriage. Surviving is a son, Donald Caccamise of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Sandra R. (Donald) Joyner of Arden, NC; three grandsons, Lance (Debbie), Alan (Sharon), and Scott Joyner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Interment private at convenience of the family in Niagara Falls Memorial Park, Lewiston, Niagara County, NY.
