  Irving H. Pokelwaldt SANBORN - Irving H. Pokelwaldt, 74, of 5874 Baer Road died Saturday (June 9, 1979) in the Buffalo General Hospital. He was a native of Niagara Falls and had resided in the Sanborn area since 1920, where he had operated a farm. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Niagara Falls. He is survived by a son, Neil I. Pokelwaldt of Sanborn; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Jean) Coleman and Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Wray, both of Sanborn; a brother, Norman Poklewaldt (sic) of North Tonawanda; and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Erma) Haseley of Bergholtz. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Edward Poklewaldt (sic). Funeral services will be at the Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Otto officiating. Burial will be in the Wheatfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church Home of Buffalo, the family said.
