- Patricia Eames, age 90 of Lewiston, died Thursday July 7, 2016 in the Schoellkopf Health Center in Niagara Falls, NY after a brief illness.
Patricia was born February 26, 1926 in Newburgh, NY, the daughter of the late James M. and Gertrude (Swaim) Harrigan and moved to Niagara Falls when she was 5 years old. Patricia was a 1944 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and was a Telephone Operator at NY Telephone for 34 years retiring in 1980. She married Edward F. "Curly" Eames on April 24, 1970 and they moved to Lewiston in 1990. Curly predeceased her in 2012.
Patricia was a communicant of St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston. She enjoyed traveling and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her siblings; Edward (Julie) Harrigan, Francis (late Louise) Harrigan, Maryann (James) Ivey all of Niagara Falls, NY, and Robert (Geraldine) Harrigan of Lewiston; a brother in law, Fred Metro and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Eleanor Tickett and Janet Metro; and five brothers, Michael, James, Thomas, David, and George Harrigan.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston ON Sunday from 2 - 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St. Lewiston on Monday, July 11, at 10:00 am. (Please assemble at Church). Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined.
