- Julia N. Olscamp of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Henry and Ellen [McKernan] Nagelhout.
Mrs. Olscamp graduated from St. Mary's High School. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church where she worked on the Church's Bereavement Committee. She also belonged to the prayer group at St. George's Catholic Church and the First Saturday Club, she later became a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in North Tonawanda. Mrs. Olscamp loved spending time with her family and had a deep devotion to her church and her faith. She is survived by her husband John K. Olscamp, four sons Vincent (Bonnie), Michael (Linda), John (Marie) and Francis (Moira) Olscamp, two daughters, Anne (Philip) Cafarella and Maria (Chip) Taylor, her late son's fiancee' Amy Griffin, seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Olscamp was the mother of the late Joseph Olscamp and sister of the Arnold, Vincent and John Nagelhout and Margaret O'Laughlin Her family will be present on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, 259 Fourth Street, Niagara Falls, NY. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzhiemers Association. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
