Services for Leona H. Pollard, a charter member of the Historical Society of North German Settlements in Western New York, will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.
The former Leona Voelker, 84, of Niagara Road, died Monday (Oct. 2, 1995) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
She was a lifelong resident of the Town of Wheatfield and longtime member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Pollard was a member of the Wheatfield Senior Citizens and enjoyed quilting and needlework.
She was the widow of Harry Pollard, who died in 1956.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia DePasquale of Toledo, OH, Jean Oakey of Conesus Lake and Judith Siegmann of Sanborn; two brothers, Kenneth Voelker of Niagara Falls and Gordon Voelker of Martinsburg, W. Va.; two sisters, Hazel Wiegand of Wheatfield and Audrey Haseley of Calabash, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild
